  • Club membership will be restricted to skeet clubs which annually meet all of the following criteria:

                (1)  Five current NSSA members.

                (2)  Must have at least one NSSA specification skeet  range.

                (3)  Must hold one open, one gauge, 100-bird shoot per year. 

                (4)  Must have thrown 2,000 registered targets the past year.

  • New clubs may be admitted to membership by submitting an application in writing to the Secretary-Treasurer prior to the annual business meeting or the November meeting.  Such application shall include the name and address of the principal executive officer.
  • All member clubs must submitt a membership fee of  $50 at the state meeting in November.
  • All bona fide Alabama residents are members in good standing with ASSA providing they have shot 100 registered targets in the last 12 months.

The following is a list and location of clubs in Alabama that have facilities for shooting skeet. These Clubs are current members of the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA), however some of them do not meet the requirements for or do not choose to have a voting membership in the Alabama Skeet Shooting Association. Assa paid members for 2009 include all but Madison Co. Shooting Sports, the Graysville Gun Club and the Tuscaloosa Skeet Club.
